Member Diamond Circle: Drs. Pavanjit Kaur and Daljit S. Sawhney, Pavanjit is the symbol of compassion and self-less humanity. Her natural nobility, which she inherited from her mother, is of the highest class. Like her mother, Pavanjit is genuinely committed to brighten the lives of our underprivileged youth through higher professional education. In this relentless pursuit to build communities which are intellectually wide awake, more secure and self-assured, she is powerfully supported by Daljit, her husband. Both have impeccable career profiles as leading doctors in the Baltimore, Maryland area.

Member Gold Circle: Jagdeep Singh and Dr. Roshni Kaur . Jagdeep singh created history when, in his early thirties he sold his newly created Lightera Network for over half a billion dollars in 1999. He has been recognized as an industry leader and is the recipient of many honors from respected industry organizations. Both he and his wife strongly believe in higher education and make generous philanthropic contributions. They have established the "Jagdeep and Roshni Singh Professorship". This is the "Singh Chair of Operations, Information and technology" in the Graduate School of Business, at the esteemed Stanford University, his alma mater.


Member Gold Circle: Baldev Singh and Pushpinder Kaur. Baldev Singh is a distinguished entrepreneur and a philanthropist. Starting from a scratch, he now has a business empire including a Hilton hotel, a double Tree Hotel and a 300-acre farm breeding thoroughbred horses. Education and Punjabi literature are closest to his heart. The higher secondary school built by him in his home village Majatri in Mohali district, Punjab has been adopted by the Government of India as a model school. Now with pro-active support of Pushpinder, he passionately supports professional college education of youth in Punjab and India.

 
Benefactor Family: Dr. Rajinder Singh and Jagjit Kaur Sidhu . Taking further the inherited tradition of three generations, i.e. promoting the cause of education, particularly female education. Both are a pride of the community for leadership and selfless service. Dr. Rajindr Singh is ex-Chairman of the Guru Nanak Foundation of America.

They believe in and support high grade education for all members of the community. Dr. Kirpal Kaur chairs the Gurdwara Management Committee at Baltimore.

She has received numerous awards, including Glory of India award, Hi-Tech Entrepreneur of the Year award. The Bajaj family is a strong supporter of higher education.

SIMRAN MEMORIAL EDUCATION FUND Instituted by Mr. & Mrs. Prakash Singh of Vienna, Virginia and their relatives and friends in memory of their son Simran Singh (21), who left for his heavenly abode on August 4, 2007. According to the family, “Simran was a caring and compassionate person, excellent in studies and the best son/brother one could possibly have”.
